Since migration of the eighties, Italy has changed from a country of emigration to a country of immigration. The results of this change should not be seen only from the perspective of social anthropology, but invest the literary and cultural fields. New writers or foreign-born children of foreigners who contribute with their works, the multiculturalism of contemporary Italian literature. More than twenty years since migration, some questions arise here, what was the influence of such writers in the contemporary Italian literature? What new issues have been addressed? And what could be the future challenge of this literature? In answering these questions and more, we realize how the Italy of today is radically changed and how the literature of migration is an important aspect of change.
