A fire broke out in the fourth reactor at the Fukushima plant and has resulted in a loss of highly concentrated radiation. Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan has asked residents within 20 km of distance from the reactor immediately leave the area and those living at a distance within 30 kmdi stay at home but with windows and doors closed.
